WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Eye and ear protection and a baseball style hat with a bill.  I would recommend bringing both ear plugs and ear muffs.  We have eye and ear protection at the club on a first come basis.

WILL I ENJOY THIS CLASS?
The responses have been very good.  We offer a low key, enjoyable class but stress safety.
It is not a macho, survival, military, hunting class, it is a basic class for beginners and we
make it enjoyable.

You will shoot anywhere from 10 to 25 rounds per gun and 10 to 14 handguns.

Both revolvers and semi-autos in several calibers, from .22 all the way to .45 caliber guns.

YOUR FLYER SAYS I WILL LEARN TO SHOOT A SHOTGUN.
Yes, we will teach you how to shoot a pump 12 gauge shotgun.  We will show you what
buckshot is and the size of pattern it makes at 15 feet.  Since the shotgun is the number
one rated home defense gun, we feel this information is important.

WHAT IF I AM AFRAID OF GUNS?
That is OK.  I hear that a lot and I would rather teach someone with a healthy
respect for guns.  Handguns have a strong psychological and physiological effect
on people, that is OK.  Through this course you will gain confidence in handling guns.
We start with a very mild recoil in a .22 caliber handgun work up to larger calibers
with more recoil when you are ready.
