WHO USUALLY TAKES YOUR CLASSES?
Husbands and wives giving each other birthday or anniversary presents. Parents wanting their children to receive basic handgun instruction. A birthday present from a parent to a child. People wanting private lessons. People having a problem and wanting specialized attention. People concerned about their safety. A group of friends wanting to take a handgun class together.

CAN YOU HELP ME DECIDE WHAT TYPE OF GUN TO BUY?
Definitely, some guns are better for a specific task than others. We can show you first hand the differences between guns.

WHAT WILL YOU TEACH ME?
First and foremost, we will teach you how to safely operate and shoot your gun. We will teach you what you need to know to be comfortable and shoot at gun ranges, such as the meaning of “going hot” and “going cold” .
We will teach you the basics of grip, stance, sight picture, sight alignment, trigger squeeze, follow through and bullet placement correction. Also different practice drills to improve your skills.

WILL YOU TEACH ME HOW TO CLEAN MY GUN?
Yes, we will teach you how to break down your gun and which solvents and tools to use to clean it.

CAN YOU TEACH ME HOW TO SHOOT SKEET OR TRAP?
Yes. If you have thought that you might like to learn how to shoot skeet or trap, I would encourage you to come out and give it a try. I can provide you with a shotgun if you like.

CAN YOU PROVIDE ME WITH A GUN?
Yes, gun rental is $10 for a session. We have several different types and calibers of guns to choose from so give me a call to reserve a gun. We can also sell you ammo or you can bring your own.

CAN I BRING MY OWN GUN?
Yes.

CAN YOU PREPARE ME TO TAKE MY CONCEALED CARRY LICENSE CLASS?
Yes. After the lesson you will feel confident and comfortable to take your concealed carry course. I will teach you the basics
of operating and shooting a handgun so you will be comfortable taking the concealed carry course.

SHOULD I TAKE INSTRUCTION AFTER TAKING MY CONCEALED CARRY CLASS?
Definitely. After taking your concealed carry class and learning the law, the next logical step is to take handgun instruction and learn how to shoot.
Most concealed carry classes do not go into a lot of detail on how to shoot a handgun. So if you are going to carry a handgun it makes sense to obtain training on how to shoot a handgun.
